A new core for the MiSTer FPGA platform has surfaced, targeting the IGS PGM arcade hardware. The PGM system, produced by International Game System, powered a number of popular arcade titles through the late 1990s and 2000s, making this core a notable addition to the MiSTer library.
The project is currently in early development, with an initial commit laying the groundwork for the implementation. No specific game compatibility or feature details have been disclosed yet, but the arrival of a dedicated PGM core signals real progress toward running this arcade hardware natively on MiSTer FPGA.
