AC6Recomp is a new community effort to recompile Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, the Xbox 360 flight combat entry, into a native build. The work sits in the sal063/AC6_recomp repository, and it has just started collecting commits, with 09144bb the latest recorded.
That is the whole of the change set for now: a single commit and a project name. There is no release build, no stated target platform list and no timeline attached to the repository yet, so treat this as an early, experimental effort rather than something playable.
For fans of the Xbox 360 original, the appearance of a dedicated recompilation project is the interesting part. Ace Combat 6 has stayed tied to that console generation, and a recompile is the usual first step toward a native PC build. Expect this one to be watched closely as the repository fills out.
