Bomberman 64 Recompiled arrives on the scene
A new project called Bomberman 64 Recompiled has appeared on GitHub under the handle RevoSucks. It applies the N64 static recompilation approach to the classic 1997 Hudson Soft action-adventure title, targeting a native PC build from the original game binary.
The recompilation method, popularized by similar projects on other N64 titles, translates MIPS game code into native machine code ahead of time, producing a port that runs without traditional emulation. This is the first public commit for the project, so expect early-stage development as the work gets off the ground.
